This study analyzes histology/digital pathology features like cell morphology and mitotic activity from routine breast cancer tissue images. IbRiS, a cox-regression model trained on these features, predicts a patient's risk of recurrence, offering more precise risk assessment than current methods. IbRiS be used to develop personalized treatment plans, and allow for patient stratification to plan more aggressive or combination treatments for patients more likely to have disease recurrence.
